Saving the Boyd will require a wide variety of volunteers and skills: Architects, Lawyers, Fundraisers, Artists, Letter writers, as well as volunteers to make phone calls, hang up posters and hand out flyers.
In other words, Everyone Can Help! Especially you.
To volunteer, please fill out our new Online Volunteer Form.
To offer suggestions, please email Howard B. Haas, Chairman of the Committee.
Call Your Elected Officials
Please call or fax your city councilpersonand tell them
- They should tell L&I (Licenses and Inspections) to revoke the demolition permit
- They should support some City funding for restoring Sameric if operated by a nonprofit organization
- That a mixed use venue for live events, including many community oriented performances by local groups, and many special film events, would be much better for the City than a demolished theater turned parking lot.
